After buying a number of cheap Chinese tea pots, I thought that it was about time to lash out and buy something nice. This pot is both attractive and functional. The only caveat being that it is really designed to make tea for 3 or more mugs at a time. The design of the strainer is set up to allow one to stop brewing by pressing the plunger, however this is done by keeping the bottom few cm of strainer solid. If you try and make smaller quantities of tea, the water just does not get a chance to circulate. Best solution: buy the smaller 4 cup model for when making tea for two :-) You will not regret it!

a great tea pot!
This tea pot is very good, from 2 to 4 persons. One can stop letting the tea sit with a simple press. The steel version is better than the plastic one, really worth a bit more money! A great product, well designed, beautiful and functional :-)
