Bought one of these a few years ago and it is still going strong and still looks beautiful. Heats evenly, no hot spots on the bottom, sings loudly when tea is ready to be made and just needs a good wipe with a hot soapy sponge every now and again to wipe off splatters from the stove and allow its lovely sparkly redness to shine!

Could be better
Looks great but does not pour very well. When the water content is below half way you tend to spill some and when water is low it is very hard to get it out at all.

Never going back to electric kettle
I love this kettle, it gives my kitchen a more sophisticated look and matches my Kitchen-Aid Stand mixer perfectly. I have a small kitchen so now I don't have to worry about another electric appliance taking up space. The whistle to let you know it is finished is great and it has no plastic parts. Maybe I am just imaging it but a cup of tea seems to taste better now :o) ??? Also impressed how quickly it arrived, I live in a remote mining town at it was here a week earlier than the average time it takes for my internet orders to arrive.

Oh what a beauty !!
I love this kettle, it looks so pretty sitting on my stovetop. I am more than happy with not only the product but the excellent service from Kitchenware Direct. The parcel arrived, carefully packed 3 days after I ordered it, I have ditched electric kettles forever after using the Esteele beauty. Thankyou.

not made in italy
so disappointed to find that this product is actually made in thailand not in Italy as the details suggest.

This kettle is very good value for the money. Only downfall is that it is a bit smaller than I expected.
