Being thrifty, I have been buying 'economy' kettles from the hardware store, and my third one in a couple of years burnt the handle out and it's thin bottom almost immediately. Decided that 'economy' was not so ecomonic, and that good quality daily items are so pleasurable to enjoy. This kettle was not even very expensive, it is simply beautiful and I will have it a very long time. We deserve it!! Oh, and it's bigger than it looks in the photo. It's perfect!!

A great Kettle I couldn`t be more pleased with it

It is really quite nostalgic to use this wonderful kettle! The whistling evokes childhood memories... but apart from that it is a beautifully made vessel and I'm sure we shall have it for a long time. It is so much better than an electric jug!!

We recently bought this kettle to replace an electric one and my wife loves making her cups of tea now! The design looks great sitting on our gas cooktop in our recently renovated kitchen and the sound of the whistle brings back memories. The silicon grips on the main handle and lid handle ensure that heat ransfer is minimal, making it easy & safe to pick up after boiling. Great product!

I love this kettle. The whistle sounds great, it is strong and durable and the water really boils and therefore makes a really hot cuppa. It's also a fantastic looking product. Recommend it highly - it also frees up bench space from the electric kettle.
