We recommend that you descale your kettle every few months. This can be done by creating an equal mix of white vinegar and water in your kettle and leaving it to soak overnight. If the lime scale is really built up then you may need to boil the solution in the kettle. A descaled kettle will last longer and boil faster and may also help you to avoid warranty issues.

Funky!
Love my new kettle, very quiet and quick to boil. Not to mention very pretty when lit up....or as my 7 yr old Granddaughter said...."it' amzing". It gets used quite a few times a day and so far no problems.

A New Kitchen Centrepiece
I bought this kettle from my Mum for Mothers Day, and was she floored. It has given her kitchen a new centrepiece, talking point and a bit of lively fun when making herself a cuppa. The water is super hot which gives her the best flavour from her teas.

Not as good as it looks
Pretty? Yes. Quality? No. The first one of these kettles I had the lid stopped opening after a few months. KitchenwareDirect were absolutely brilliant and replaced it immediately. Unfortunately the replacement lasted three months and now the lid doesn't open again. The silver finish on the on/off switch has worn off and is just white plastic and now looks messy. The filter mesh fell out and then the auto cutout wouldn't work. I glued it back in so it automatically shuts off again. Overall, I would say it is not a good quality kettle. It may look good but I would not recommend it to anyone.

Gorgeous!
This kettle is fun to boil and fun to watch. It boils fast and has a great handle - easy to pour as well as a nice wide lip.
I was however a little disappointed that once on, the blue light didn't 'illuminate' as much as I thought (maybe my kitchen is a little too bright!). The mirrored glass also doesn't seem to 'disappear' (or go 'see-through') when boiling as much as I had imagined.
All in all though, a really beautiful kettle and a different take on the average kettle!

Just one tiny fault in an otherwise fantastic kettle
Just one tiny fault with this great kettle is that the filter keeps falling off into the kettle and I have to reattach it. My husband says it's because I fill the kettle with too much water force, but I don't. Has anyone else had this problem?

What a conversation piece
I love my new kettle. Waiting for the water to boil has never been so much fun, and it looks smart when it's not 'bubbling blue'as well. Gets the conversation started everytime!!

Glorious Kettle
Yes this quickly boils water, but it has taken the main position in my kitchen and I love to show it off whenever I have people over. I don't think I will ever get tired of watching this kettle work its magic!

Awesome kettle
Read up a few reviews on the net but i dont agree, its a great kettle, doesnt seem cheap at all, boils real hot water, easy pouring, wouldnt recommend for people with arthritis but other than that its the best kettle ive had, could watch it boil for hours with that lighting.
